Graduate Students applying for financial aid start by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Graduate Financial Aid Office awards financial aid in together with the
Office of Graduate Studies. Do not use your own money for the graduate school.

Financial Aid process for the graduate student is pretty much the same as for the undergraduate one. Graduate students should start
to look for free money first and then move to Graduate Student Loans.
There are many different ways to pay for your graduate school. Eligible students are allowed to receive more than one type of Financial Aid.
A very common approach is to receive both Grants and Graduate Student Loans.
This common approach can be supplemented with Scholarships. The general idea is not to use your own money.
You go to school to provide services for the world later. That world should and does sponsor you in a way by helping you to pay for school.
On top of Graduate Student Loans, Grants and
Scholarships graduate students can sign up for Fellowships and
Assistantship programs. Fellowships are like Scholarships and, similarly,
do not require repayment. Fellowships could be awarded by private organizations, institutions, or through the government.
Assistantships on the other hand are similar to internships or Work-Study Programs that are awarded
during your undergraduate years, but they require students to work as assistant teachers, research assistants, assistants to professors, or perform other duties on campus. Please note
Work-Study Programs are mostly not awarded to graduate students.
Very often students get sponsored by their existing employers that want to invest in young professions. The return fee is mostly working for few years for the employer after graduation.
This is not a bad deal considering how much the school costs.
If you're currently not employed you can always search for an employer who will be willing to sponsor you based on some kind
of mutual arrangement.
Federal government provides funding for graduate students. Based on eligibility Federal Student Aid Programs offers Graduate Student Loans
and Graduate Parent Loans.

States often provide Financial Aid. State based Financial Aid
is mostly based on Grants and Graduate Student Loans.
The best source for state based Financial Aid is to contact your State Higher Education Agency.
It is well known graduate schools provide as much Financial Aid as the federal government. It is very important to search for aid
at your school first. They do provide free education money. Contact your school's financial aid office and find out what they have to offer. Use our
